Is Marriage a blessing or a curse?

Last night i saw on the news the case of the banker who was alleged to have murdered his wife in 2011 few days after thier white wedding. Jingles!!!!! The news is such to deter the fragile from the marriage institution. The first time i heard the news, I made a mental note not to marry, but .............

Arowolo, 31, was apprehended on December 21, 2011, and charged to court for allegedly stabbing his spouse Titilayo, a banker, to death. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and has been remanded in Ikoyi Prisons.

Am very sure if they had told this lady not to marry this young man, she would have refused vehemently because looking at thier wedding picture, one can see the love radiating from her eyes. I come from a family where one is taught to respect and love the other no matter life circumstances. So this story sort of paralyzed my view of marital life outside my nuclear family.

The big question is what could have prompted this devilish act? Only God can tell, the devil does not even know the heart of man and can only tempt one. The heart of man is desperately wicked and can be harnessed to met out a level of "unthinkingable" wickedness.

New twist to this case "‘Accidentally’ Stabbed 76 Times". Am really wide eyed now! Accidently? From my dictionary accidentally is "Occurring unexpectedly, unintentionally, or by chance". Now it is quite confusing to do an unintentional act 76 times. Jeezzzz!!!!! Some people actually have hearts painted in Hell's coal!

Anyways, lets keep our fingers and brains alert for the final verdict. Final written addresses in the trial of Akolade Arowolo , the alleged wife-murderer, will be submitted on October 2, 2013. Justice Lateefat Okunnu of the Ikeja High Court has on on Tuesday, September 17, directed the prosecution and defence to file and serve the processes before the next adjournment date.
